2024 Ansel Adams Forever Stamps. Set of 16 First Day Covers. Digital Print Cachets by Tony Ciccolella. May 15, 2024 Yosemite National Park, CA 95389 First Day of Issue black ink cancel on single stamp. Sixteen different cover designs are included in this set. Double-sided cachets are digital prints on a sheets of 32 lb. Letter-sized 25% cotton paper, then hand cut, scored, folded and glued into envelopes.

Each cover features a digital illustration from photography of the types of cameras that were used by Ansel Adams during his lifetime. 8x10 Ansco View, 8x10 Deardorf, Hasselblad 2000, Hasselblad 500 C/M, Kodak Brownie 1, Kodak Master View 4x5, 4x5 Korona View, 5x7 Linhof, Polaroid 110 Pathfinder, Sinar Norma, 4x5 Speed Graphic, Zeiss Contrarex Professional, Zeiss-Ikon Contax III, Zeiss-Ikon Miroflex, Zeiss-Ikon Universal Juwel, Zeiss Super Ikonta B. The reverse of each cachet has information about the life and work of Ansel Adams.

Each cover contains one of 80 unique filler cards, each featuring an Ansel Adams photograph taken from his work for the Department of the Interior and in the collection of the National Archives. Five sets of sixteen covers were produced for this issue.

Each cover is signed, numbered and dated by the designer on back.
